Physiotherapy for Veterans (DVA)
Helping DVA White and Gold Card Holders at Braydon Vo Physiotherapy
At Braydon Vo Physiotherapy, we are proud to support veterans with DVA White and Gold Cards. Our experienced team helps manage pain, improve movement, and support long-term health. We operate at two convenient locations in North Lakes and Brendale, both inside World Gym facilities. This means you’ll have access to high-quality gym equipment and a modern rehab setting.
How to Get Started
To begin treatment, veterans need a DVA D904 referral form from their GP. This referral allows up to 12 sessions or 12 months of care—whichever comes first. However, veterans with a Gold Card and TPI (Totally and Permanently Incapacitated) status are eligible for 12 months of ongoing care from the referral date, regardless of visit count.
We treat White Card holders for their accepted conditions and Gold Card holders for any clinical needs, as outlined by DVA. Our team understands the process and can guide you through the referral and treatment steps.
What We Help With
Many veterans experience chronic pain, past injuries, or difficulty staying active. We offer effective support through a mix of hands-on care and exercise-based rehabilitation. Our treatments often include:
Massage therapy, including soft tissue and deep tissue work
Dry needling, cupping, and joint mobilisation
Personalised exercise programs to build strength and mobility
Pain education, teaching you how to move safely and confidently
Coaching on correct form and technique during exercise
We go beyond standard clinic care. Thanks to our gym-based locations, we can deliver advanced rehab using strength and cardio equipment that most clinics don’t have.

Why Exercise Matters
Research shows that exercise is one of the most effective ways to reduce pain and improve movement. For veterans, regular physical activity also supports weight control, mental health, and independence. That’s why where required we can build custom exercise plans that match each client’s needs and goals.
Even better, for those who are open to it, exercise can lower the need for ongoing hands-on treatment. It empowers clients to take charge of their recovery and maintain long-term progress.
